Thesis Project on Hospital in San Carlos

Hi allMy name is Sharmini James and I am a graduate student at the National University of Singapore. My master’s thesis is on the design of a network of resilient healthcare facilities for towns and villages in the Philippines (probably on the scale of barangay health centers). I became interested in this through my work with the NGO Gawad Kalinga in Manila and Negros.   I would like to use San Carlos as a test site for my project and was wondering if anyone is interested in my proposal for the town and in facilitating my data collection process. I would tremendously appreciate any help you can give me with the collection of data on the demography of San Carlos, especially in terms of demand for health services and existing provisions (including barangay health centers, clinics and such). Perhaps if there are any limitations or problems with the existing network, or on current food and energy sources for the city, information on these things would also prove very interesting.   Salamat Po!
